IPL 2025: Shashank Singh's roof-scraping six off Mayank Yadav stole the show in Dharamshala as Punjab Kings stormed to 236, leaving LSG and their pace spearhead reeling on a tough day at the office.

Punjab Kings’ Shashank Singh lit up Dharamshala with a monstrous six that sent Lucknow Super Giants pacer Mayank Yadav’s delivery sailing out of the ground during the death overs of the first innings. The towering hit, which struck the roof of the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala during the 17th over, left the crowd stunned and even caught co-owner Preity Zinta in visible awe.

Batting first, PBKS piled up a commanding total of 236, powered by a sublime 91 from Prabhsimran Singh and an unbeaten 33 off 15 from Shashank. The six off Mayank Yadav was a standout moment, as the pacer endured a tough outing—conceding 60 runs in his spell without taking a wicket.
